Streak Broken in Le Roy: Heyworth Defeats Panthers 42-8 to Move to 5-0

History was made under the Friday night lights in Le Roy as the Heyworth Hornets delivered a statement performance, dominating the Panthers 42-8 on Panthers home turf. The victory marked a major milestone for the Hornets, snapping a 13-year losing streak against their rival and securing their first win over Le Roy since 2013.

Heyworth took control from the opening quarter, executing with precision on both sides of the ball. The Hornets' offense set an aggressive pace early, breaking through the Le Roy defensive unit with sustained drives and explosive plays. Defensively, Heyworth suffocated the Panthers' backfield, denying internal running lanes and keeping Le Roy bottled up throughout the contest to preserve a massive lead.

The loss drops Le Roy to 2-3 on the season as they look to recalibrate during conference play. For Heyworth, the dominant road win elevates their record to an unblemished 5-0, reinforcing their status as a force to be reckoned with this fall.
